On 19 September 1899 the Austrian Emperor and Hungarian King Franz Joseph 1 signed a decree bringing into existence a Czech technical university in Brno. This was the first Czech higher education institution in Moravia. It became an important centre of teaching and research, greatly enriching the life of Czech society, a role that it has continued to play down to the present.When it opened, the university had with four professors and forty-seven students. In the course of more than 110 years is has matured into an internationally recognized institution offering a cutting-edge education based on the latest scientific and professional knowledge delivered at eight faculties and Institute of Forensic Engineering covering a broad spectrum of fields ranging from technical and scientific disciplines through economics to the arts.
Find Out MoreI continued bachelor studying of Automation at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at the Brno University of Technology. One of the most interesting courses was Practical programming in C++, which I paradoxically repeated. I and my friends did not understand the assignment and we did not finish it. The second course I enjoyed was Databases systems, where I started to program the Czech-Slovak Dota 2 League portal.
The topic of my Bachelor's Thesis was Path following for FEEC BUT advertising robot. It's objective was to implement implement modul into chassis of advertising robot FEEC BUT in Brno (FEKTBOT), which allows moving along predefined route. It was needed to design and create hardware and also software to revive it. I managed to realize only part and so finished with the evaluation F.
I went on the same bachelor thesis next year. This time I created the hardware and software of the module and the protocol for communicating with the robot subway control. Unfortunately, I did not have the module physically involved in the robot and so I did not accomplish the bachelor thesis again, which meant the unsuccessful end of the study.
